Pozdravljeni učenci,

prejšnje ure smo obravnavali slovnico, zato so navodila potekala v slovenščini. Veste pa, da se tudi pri pouku trudimo, da bi čim več uporabljali angleščino, tako da bo današnja ura potekala v angleščini. To bo za nekatere od vas najbrž pomenilo malo večji izziv. Saj veste kako to zgleda pri pouku: vi začnete po slovensko, jaz pa: ‘English, try to say this in English!’ Ker sedaj komunikacija poteka malo drugače in nisem ob vas, da bi vam lahko pomagala pri zadregah, mi lahko postavljate vprašanja po elektronski pošti ali pa kaj napišete v komentarje spodaj.

Now have a look at the questions on page 148 (exercise 2). Go through the questions and answer them.

So, should parents punish their children for misbehaving? What should parents do? Should they be strict?

Think about an ideal parent (mother or father) and write a few sentences about that in your notebook. Here is one example: An ideal mother should be a good listener. You can help yourself with the exercise 4a in the book.

What about the reality? How close to being ideal are real parents / your parents? Have a look at the exercise 4c and 4d and think about that.

I would like you to do exercise 4e now. Write the answers to these questions in your notebook.

Now think about school, what should ideal teachers and ideal students be like? Write a few sentences about that in your notebook. You can help yourself with exercise 5.
